Microsoft selects Projility

Projility, a management and technology services provider specialising in project management, collaboration and business intelligence solutions, has been selected for Microsoft's Single View Platform as a model provider of project management solutions for government, according to PR Canada.

Projility's solution provides executive decision-makers with a geospatial view of programme management information.

Microsoft has identified Projility as the only provider of enterprise portfolio management solutions for government to deliver this level of functionality.

AEC Software, a developer of project management software, has revealed the first round of results from a green building survey of home building, architecture, and construction industry managers, reports Market Watch.

When asked if specialised software tools or templates would be beneficial for organising and tracking green projects, more than two-thirds responded 'yes', supporting the value technology would offer in creating efficiency, streamlining steps and aiding the completion of green projects on time and within budget.

Of the survey respondents, 81% said they believe green building is not a fad. Furthermore, half said by offering green services, their businesses captured new revenue, even in times of slowed growth and poor economic conditions.
