Microsoft today is excited to announce the release to manufacturing of the Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Advance Server operating systems.

Hundreds of customers, PC manufacturers, independent software and hardware vendors and system integrators have signed-off on the quality, performance and reliability of Microsoft Windows 2000.
Mark Hill, managing director of Microsoft South Africa, commented: "Microsoft has received tremendous response from the South African market with regard to Microsoft`s latest operating system. During the past few months Microsoft has initiated the biggest training drive in the history of technology product launches in South Africa. We have had a dedicated team of trainers preparing South Africa for Microsoft Windows 2000 for the past six months. Through a range of Microsoft Windows 2000 training sessions from highly technical to knowledge worker audiences, we are confident in saying that by February 17th, South Africa will be ready for Microsoft Windows 2000."
