Business intelligence (BI) software provider MicroStrategy is offering over 200 hours of online training for BI professionals, at no cost, reports Trading Markets.
The company says in order to address the market demand for MicroStrategy trained personnel, it is offering a free online training curriculum that covers a wide range of training needs.
BI users from business and technical disciplines can choose from a wide range of lessons across a series of classes that cover key BI topics, prerequisite material for certification exams, the latest products and capabilities from MicroStrategy, techniques for leveraging advanced settings, and tools and MicroStrategy companion technologies.
Capgemini unveils for utilities
Capgemini has unveiled Smart Analytics, its BI solution which provides an accelerated platform to help utilities gain value from the complex data generated in their organisation and by their smart grid and AMI (advanced metering infrastructure) deployments, states Consultant News.
The solution enhances the speed of delivery of analytic portals by accelerating the development process for requirements definition, data modelling and related business logic.

Netmining releases marketing analytics tool
Netmining has released a dashboard aimed at giving advertisers real-time access to data and insights from Web site visitors. It also provides key marketing analysis to improve conversion optimisation, writes MediaPost.
The dashboard, SiteInsights for Advertisers, provides a view into traffic driven to a site by referring URLs through a report called Score by Refer.
It allows advertisers to determine the quality and the referring source to the Web site and identifies leads for the most qualified traffic driving conversions on the site.
