MicroStrategy unveils Apple app
MicroStrategy rolled out its mobile BI application for Apple's popular iPad and iPhone devices, states IT Business.
The app takes advantage of touch technology in the two Apple devices, said Jim Broadley, MicroStrategy Canada's country manager.
MicroStrategy already has a mobile BI app for Research In Motion's BlackBerry devices, and Broadley said his company is looking to create the same for other popular smartphones, such as the Google Android.
Taj implements TravelClick's enterprise BI
The India-headquartered hotel chain, Taj, has implemented the enterprise edition of Hotelligence360, TravelClick's suite of business intelligence applications, reports Hotel News Resource.
Earlier this year, the hotel chain implemented the property edition of Hotelligence360, and with the addition of the enterprise edition, Taj gains the ability to see its performance from every angle across its enterprise of hotels, spanning from Asia to the US.
The first major chain in Asia-Pacific to deploy the enterprise edition, the hotel group will leverage the solution to analyse global distribution system data, forecast future trends, and use data as a strategic enterprise asset to capture market share worldwide.
Arcplan adds integrated planning connector
Arcplan, an independent BI solution provider, has incorporated into its arcplan enterprise solution a newly developed connector for use with the integrated planning functionality of the SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse component, reveals Market Watch.
The connector from arcplan provides new business intelligence functionality for companies using the IP capabilities of SAP NetWeaver BW.
The arcplan connector leverages and extends the IP functionality of SAP NetWeaver BW with flexible presentation options in arcplan Enterprise Designer.
