IBM expands cloud offerings

IBM has expanded its cloud computing efforts, debuting new on-demand services for ISVs and customers that the company says will improve collaboration and management, and reduce costs, says Channel Web.

According to IBM, most of the new services will be available for resale by the company's channel partners.

IBM is also piloting a new pricing model for middleware products for channel partners that aligns reseller costs and earned discounts with software-as-a-service subscription fee payments.
