Mimecast, Iron Mountain Digital forge technology alliance

Mimecast partners with Iron Mountain Digital to bring new storage as a service solution for e-mail archiving to market.

Boston, Massachusetts, 14 May 2009

Mimecast, a holistic e-mail management company offering SaaS-based e-mail archiving, continuity, security and policy control, today announced it has formed a technology partnership with Iron Mountain Digital, the leading provider of storage as a service solutions for backup, recovery and archiving.

The partnership is a key step in the growth of the Mimecast Partner Programme and allows the company to further broaden its presence and coverage in North America. Under this agreement, Iron Mountain will leverage Mimecast technology to power its hosted Total E-mail Management suite.

Mimecast has experienced increased demand for its SaaS e-mail management services from the partner community, demonstrated by 318% revenue growth in the first nine months of fiscal 2009.
