Minolta-QMS, Inc. has announced that its 2560 Print System has received the distinguished Editor`s Choice award from Better Buys for Business for the second consecutive year. The 2560 is highlighted in this year`s edition of the publication`s The Mid-Volume Printer Guide. Following up last year`s win, the 2560 continued to hold the attention of the editorial staff with its performance and value, receiving high marks for strong finishing capabilities and paper handling.
According to Better Buys for Business, "Editor`s Choice awards go to those models that we believe deliver the highest levels of performance and offer the greatest value for consumers in a given price range." The 2560 Print System offers "good speed for the money and top-class finishing."
The Better Buys for Business editorial staff tests models from all major manufacturers. The printers are evaluated based on the strength of their features and how they compare to competitive offerings. The 2560 stacked up well against other printers in this category, especially in terms of finishing capabilities and overall value.
"Hewlett-Packard, Kyocera Mita, and Xerox printers all carry machines with finishers, and HP`s LaserJet 8150 series offers a choice of stapling options. These machines, however, are all more expensive than the 2560 Print System series," according to Better Buys for Business.
