Miro Distribution, a fast-growing distributor of powerful, yet cost-effective broadband communication hardware, is proud to announce that it will be consolidating its Rivonia, Lynnwood and Centurion branches to form the new Miro Gauteng headquarters, in Samrand. This new branch will open its doors on 3 March 2008.
After careful deliberation, it decided that the Midrand area will provide Miro distribution with an ideal base for its fast-growing organisation.
The benefits of having its Gauteng operation under one roof is expected to enable Miro to improve service levels to the industry, its clients and its colleagues alike. This is a key goal for Miro Distribution, which aims to serve as an inspiration through everything it does.
Miro Gauteng will become a powerful knowledge centre to the public and all its clients, as it are using this move to Midrand as an opportunity to create specialised divisions within the company.
Miro Gauteng will have dedicated departments to deal with telephonic sales, walk-in customers and it will also be boasting a new advanced technical support centre, where skilled technicians are available solely for planning new solutions and trouble-shooting. For those quick in-and-out purchases, Miro Gauteng will have technical sales representatives available to process orders and also verify the compatibility of equipment and provide advice on a client's purchase.
Miro Distribution currently warehouses over 50 000 items between its branches in Gauteng alone. Miro has one of the largest inventories of the kind on the African continent, and is known to deliver orders ex-stock and on time. It hopes to further improve and build on this reputation, as its new premises provides a 200% increase in warehouse capacity.
According to Bertus van Jaarsveld, CEO of Miro Distribution, its new centralised operations in Gauteng will provide a platform for growth throughout the organisation. Specialised departments create growth opportunities for people, both in technical skills as well as new positions. It also provides them with the perfect opportunity to review and improve all processes within the organisation.
Miro Distribution's Rivonia, Centurion and Lynnwood branches' last day of business at their current addresses will be on 28 February 2008. They will be closed for business on 29 February 2008 to move into the new Samrand offices, and Miro Gauteng will open its doors on 3 March 2008.
