Power, speed, reliability and versatility are characteristics usually associated with the faithful desktop PC. With the introduction of the HPnx9110 notebook these qualities have become synonymous with the mobile PC.
"The nx9110 is a top-of-the-line notebook designed to provide business users with all the functionality they expect from a desktop system, combined with all the portable features mobile workers regard as the norm," says Andr'e Wollheim, HP product manager at Tarsus Technologies.
To meet the growing demands that desktop users place on notebooks, the nx9110 comes equipped with the latest Intel Pentium 4 processor coupled with Hyper Threading technology that improves the processing ability of the notebook. Other features include 128 MB video memory for high-end graphics and integrated wireless capabilities for those on the move.
The nx9110 sports a 15.4-inch WXGA widescreen display with exceptional clarity and high contrast and offers users the ability to view two applications side by side, or view information from a spreadsheet or business intelligence application on screen at any one time.
The HP Notebook Expansion Base port replicator expands the nx9110`s capabilities by offering a bouquet of additional functionality for the times when workers are office-bound. With the Notebook Expansion Base users have a complete desktop setup, providing instant access to a broad range of peripherals, including printers, scanners and digital cameras, while eliminating the need to purchase a separate monitor, port replicator, external speakers and a USB hub.
"Included with the nx9110 are a whole host of built-in communications solutions to provide all the flexibility that demanding users require," adds Wollheim. "Integrated wireless 802.11b/g LAN and built-in Bluetooth allows you to wirelessly synchronise and share data between other Bluetooth enabled devices."
If a hard drive of up to 60GB is not sufficient, the DVD+RW drive ensures that backing up and storing of your data is a breeze with the 4.7GB RW/R discs. Moreover, sharing files between different devices is also simplified through the 5-in-1 Media Reader.
"With the HP nx9110, you can take it with you," asserts Wollheim. "This notebook provides all the mobility features one may require, but also delivers the power and versatility expected from desktop workstations."
