Total content management (TCM) software provider Mobius Management Systems has become one of the first members of the SAP Software Partner programme to earn certification for the deployment of J2EE-compliant solutions on SAP Web Application Server (AS) Release 6.20.
The certification was awarded to Mobius`s DocumentDirect for the Internet 2.1, a component of the company`s ViewDirect TCM suite, and enables SAP customers to take advantage of DocumentDirect in their production environments by using the SAP Web AS-based J2EE engine.
June Julyan, Mobius product manager of Bateleur Software Solutions, says the certification earns Mobius one of the first designations of "Powered by SAP NetWeaver", SAP`s open integration and application platform. Bateleur Software Solutions is the official South African representative of Mobius.
"An increasing number of enterprise customers are taking advantage of the productivity and collaborative benefits of SAP NetWeaver," Julyan says. "Mobius solutions allow users to dig deeper to find related information in real-time and allow employees to take action faster, make better decisions, collaborate and operate more efficiently."
DocumentDirect for the Internet is the Web-based viewing tool of the Mobius ViewDirect TCM suite for total content management. An out-of-the-box client, it is used to search, organise, view, annotate and deliver content located anywhere in the enterprise. DocumentDirect for the Internet exploits all the performance advantages associated with Web application servers such as load balancing, fault tolerance, security and the ability to scale.
The ViewDirect TCM repository enables enterprise employees, customers and business partners to search, view, download and print documents, reports and images in any format without logging on to a separate application and without leaving the enterprise portal environment.
