Motorola to release Android tablet

Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha says that the company's much-anticipated Android tablet will be released in early 2011, slightly later than most expected, writes After Dawn.

"Just as Droid was competitive I think with iPhone, we want to make sure that any tablet that we deliver is competitive in the marketplace. We will only deliver that when that occurs. Hopefully that's early next year," he says.

Sources close to the project (via Bloomberg) say the tablet will be around 10 inches, just like the rival iPad.

Napster for iPhone released

Napster was released for Apple iOS devices, expanding the music service from PC and Mac, to a whole new slew of gadgets from the iPhone, iPod to the iPad, says Vator.tv.

The download, which is now available in the app store, will only work on devices running version 3.0 or later of the iOS.

The application is free to download, but will cost a monthly subscription fee. The fee is $10 per month of service. The service allows access to Napster's library of 10 million full-length songs. Once a user gives up subscription, they lose the music.

Asus unveils a smartphone in UAE

Garmin-Asus, a co-branded alliance between Garmin and AsusTeK Computer have released the Garmin-Asus M10 (a full-touch, all-in-one smartphone) in the Middle East, states Ame Info.

The phone offers preloaded professional, mobile navigation features from Garmin that provides users with accurate maps and rich points of interest.

The navigation tools on the M10 can be compared to the Garmin n"uvi 1410, with a fast GPS positioning time of 33 seconds. It also includes features such as lane guidance, to direct the drivers to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit.
