Motorola unveils ES400
Motorola has rolled out a mobile computing product called the ES400 global Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA), says Smart Products.
According to the company, the device has the ability to empower mobile workers with information and interaction required to transform operations, increase enterprise profitability, and complete their jobs anywhere at anytime.
The EDA, which looks like a smartphone, will work like a rugged handheld device and brings together mobile computing with push-to-talk capabilities in a compact design to benefit managers and workers across multiple industries.
Apple's smartphone market share falls
Apple's smartphone market share is being squeezed in America, with rivals HTC and Research In Motion gaining ground on the iPhone manufacturer, states Top10.com.
Around 14% of Apple's market share was lost during May, with mobile users running the iPhone operating system falling to 48%, according to data from analyst firm Millennial Media.
The same report registered a 70% share for Apple devices back in March, suggesting that there has been a shift in the market.
Asus bags awards at Computex
The Asus G51 3D, a 3D-ready notebook, has won the 'Best choice of the year' award and the 'Best choice in the display and digital entertainment' category at the 2010 Computex, according to Digi Hub.
The G51 3D won the award for its innovative overall design, rich functionality, and power saving features.
The notebook, which offers 3D with its full resolution and fluid 120Hz 3D images and 2D-to-3D conversion capabilities, was also selected for its accurate surround sound imaging and enthusiast-level hardware specifications.
