MQSoftware, a leading provider of middleware and EAI technology solutions, is pleased to announce that it has joined the EAI Industry Consortium as a founding member, at a time when the consortium is officially launching into Europe.
The EAI Industry Consortium is a global, independent, non-profit group, which was formed in early 2001 to serve the evolving needs of organisations involved in EAI (enterprise application integration). It develops initiatives so that there is a platform to guide standards and practices for the industry. MQSoftware`s role within the European consortium is key, as Jean-Christophe LaPlace of MQSoftware, will chair the French office.
"By joining the EAI Industry Consortium, MQSoftware has gained access to the most accurate information on enterprise application integration, as well as expanded our direct contact with industry leaders across Europe," explained Jean-Christophe LaPlace at MQSoftware and French chairman for the EAI Consortium. "Integration has been identified as a major concern to our European customers and therefore our membership will enable us to deliver industry-leading products to the EAI market.

According to IDC, the EAI Industry is experiencing a rapid state of growth with worldwide revenues expected to grow from $38 billion in 2001 to $116 billion in 2005. MQSoftware`s involvement with the EAI Industry Consortium will give the company a means to interact with industry players and key users of the technologies involved in the EAI industry. Alongside MQSoftware, other founding members include Sun Microsystems, CGI Group, Deloitte Consulting, GE Global Exchange Services, TIBCO and Vitria Technology.
