MS unveils Dynamics AX 2012

Microsoft partner Intergen predicts the solution's flexibility will see many Kiwi businesses adopt it as their enterprise resource planning platform, particularly with its ability to anticipate and embrace changing business needs.
According to Redmond Channel Partner, the product can be deployed on premises starting immediately, but Microsoft eventually plans cloud-based versions of all of its ERP systems.
“Dynamics AX 2012 accommodates business change through its flexible and adaptive architecture,” says Intergen's Dynamics practice principal, James Page, “ensuring change is a configuration activity rather than customisation”, writes Techday.
Page says Intergen has had access to Dynamics AX 2012 since the start of this year through Microsoft's Technology Adoption Programme.
“That means we've been able to work with clients well in advance to identify business cases where there are clear benefits for the upgrade.”
