MS updates licensing terms
Microsoft customers will be able to move any of 41 Microsoft server applications between servers within a server farm as often as necessary without paying additional licensing fees, from 1 September, according to Microsoft officials, states TMCnet.
One of the applications includes Ross Enterprise v6.3 that provides features for enhanced visibility into a company's production and supply chain.
The project accounting module included in Ross Enterprise v6.3 puts financial reporting requirements against individual projects over time as it lets manufacturers include additional related costs of material such as freight, insurance, handling and duty as part of valuing inventory at time of receipt.
