
MSI unveils WindPad 100
MSI has rolled out a tablet computer in competition to Apple's iPad and HP slate, says Geeky Gadgets.
MSI's WindPad 100 comes with a 10-inch display and is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, has 2GB of RAM and a 32GB solid state drive.
The device comes with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, and it features a custom user interface that MSI called the Wind Touch UI.
Skype develops iPhone 3G app
Skype has developed an application adapted for the iPhone, which allows VOIP over 3G infrastructure, writes Live Street Journal.
Skype says the application is available on the Apple App Store.
The application enables iPhone users to make and receive Skype-to-Skype calls and calling to landlines and mobiles across the world over a 3G data connection.
Motorola plans Android handset
Motorola is planning to debut a tablet handset based on Google's Android platform, states Stock Watch.
Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha says the company will soon come out with a 10-inch device that will offer mobile connectivity and other features such as TV.
The company plans to unveil two smartphones later this year.
