MTN has today launched a promotional pay-as-you-go bundle which offers reduced call rates for its prepaid customers.
The operator says the R30 pay-as-you-go bundle offers "guaranteed and reduced rates of 90c, 95c and 99c per minute" for calls between MTN subscribers (on-net), for calls from MTN to other networks (off-net) and those to all networks.
MTN SA chief marketing officer Brian Gouldie says customers want simple and flexible offers to cater for their needs.
"Through this promotion, MTN is providing its prepaid customers with significantly reduced call rates to meet their needs for value for money, as well as rewarding them for their loyalty," he says.
The operator says the promotion is available to all prepaid customers on MTN's Zone per second, Call Per Second, MTN Muziq and its new Pay Per Second price plan.
The new pay-as-you-go bundles will be valid for up to three days and any unused minutes will expire at midnight on the third day, according to MTN.
Gouldie says the operator created the new bundles "to suit the needs of those customers that are looking for more value from our existing MTN pay-as-you-go price plan range".
Gouldie claims the new rates will be one of the most competitive in the market.
To activate the new MTN pay-as-you-go bundles, prepaid customers can dial *141*2# and select an on-net (90 cents per minute), off-net (99c pm), or all-net bundle (95c pm).
