Mustek Electronics and ERS Electronic Repair Services have closed a deal in which ERS will provide the after sales support on all Epson products distributed by Mustek.
ERS, a company providing Hi-Tech electronic repair and maintenance support services, will handle all Epson Warranty and Out of Warranty printers, scanners, cameras and projectors received for repair at the Mustek service centre. This will position ERS as being the largest Epson repairer in South Africa.
Giovanni Gaggia, Sales and Marketing Manager for ERS says; "We are pleased to offer Mustek our services and look forward to establishing an ERS depot within Mustek`s premises. ERS will handle the total Epson repair process for Mustek and are excited to offer Mustek customers the following services:
Access to the ERS Call Centre via 0861 246 246 for all repair issues.
Internet based Online-Job-Tracking, which enables clients to follow the status of any repair, 24 hours a day 7 days a week."
According to Dean Barkhuizen, Managing Director of Mustek Electronics, the deal will kick-off with Johannesburg as the pilot site and requires ERS to complete all Epson repairs within the prescribed Epson Service Levels. Once a working relationship has been bedded down, the deal will then move to incorporate the other Mustek branches.
ERS are currently delivering high levels of service through ERS`s six branches and as ASP`s for Epson, Compaq, Philips, Seikosha, Kyocera and Sony Playstation (to name but a few), should bring additional technical expertise to Mustek`s customer after sales cycle.
