According to the World Wide Worx Mobility study, 33% of South Africans have access to cellphone data. Of the six million Internet users who use mobile, five million also have a PC.
MWeb is offering two bundles: a capped and uncapped option. The capped option includes 2GB MWeb ADSL and 2GB MTN 3G for R199 per month. The higher-end bundle includes uncapped MWeb ADSL and a 3G uncapped Lite MTN data account and is priced at R499 per month.
The bundles include an ADSL router and a USB 3G modem.
MWeb also recently announced it will reduce the cost of its “all-inclusive” uncapped ADSL 1Mbps product range, following Telkom's decrease in monthly rental fees for faster DSL customers.
