MWeb ISP CEO Derek Hershaw says: “With the Internet playing an ever-increasing role in people's day to day lives, we understand the essential need for users to stay connected while on the go.”

According to the World Wide Worx Mobility study, 33% of South Africans have access to cellphone data. Of the six million Internet users who use mobile, five million also have a PC.

MWeb is offering two bundles: a capped and uncapped option. The capped option includes 2GB MWeb ADSL and 2GB MTN 3G for R199 per month. The higher-end bundle includes uncapped MWeb ADSL and a 3G uncapped Lite MTN account and is priced at R499 per month.

The bundles include an ADSL router and a USB 3G modem.

MWeb also recently announced it will reduce the cost of its “all-inclusive” uncapped ADSL 1Mbps product range, following Telkom's decrease in monthly rental fees for faster DSL customers.
