In February 2007 MyGate Communications recently acquired Entellipay from Entelligence Limited. The Entellipay solution is a payment gateway which facilitates online credit card transactions.
The payment gateway has banking links allowing it to provide authorizations, settlements and transaction reversals and is primarily used by e-commerce companies to sell products or services online.
Entellipay figures have shown an incredible growth in the ecommerce sector and it is expected to increase its turnover by 200% in 2007. In March 2007, the Entellipay brand will be collapsed under the MyGate name.
Dan Edmiston, Managing Director of MyGate, says "We see a great opportunity in the payment gateway industry and plan to invest a further R1m into the company in 2007. We are ensuring that our payment gateway competes with world class standards as expansion into the international market is on the books".
