MySpace founder probes News Corp deal

The founder of MySpace.com parent Intermix Media is seeking a federal investigation of the sale of Intermix to News Corp last year.

Brad Greenspan, Intermix founder, claims the deal defrauded shareholders by undervaluing the `s most popular networking site.

"On Thursday, Greenspan accused former Intermix CEO Richard Rosenblatt of hiding revenue growth at MySpace from shareholders to present a distorted financial picture and execute a deal quickly. Greenspan`s claim contends MySpace could now be worth more than $20 billion," reports News.com.

Ghost Recon grabs Bafta

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter has picked up a Bafta award for game of the year, according to BBC News.

The game also won the technical achievement award at a ceremony held in London last night, while PlayStation game LocoRoco won awards in the best character and best children`s title categories.

Lego Star Wars II won the award for gameplay while PlayStation 2 title Shadow of the Colossus earned the artistic achievement prize. Shadow of the Colossus also won the best action and adventure Bafta.

IBM gets R100m ABM contract

ABM Industries has entered a $100 million technology services contract with IBM, writes MarketWatch.

IBM will provide ABM Industries with IT infrastructure and services for seven years and three months, according to the company`s filing with the and Exchange Commission.

"ABM Industries, which provides air conditioning, elevator, parking and other building services, said it entered the contract to reduce in-house IT risks and to upgrade its technology infrastructure in support of growth and strategic business initiatives," reads the article.
