N-able, Mitel confirm partnership
Ottawa-based N-able Technologies has confirmed a technology alliance pact with their city neighbours Mitel, says IT Business.
The alliance calls for the integration of Mitel Communications Director (MCD), an IP communications software solution, with N-able's N-central NSM software platform. The company says this will make customised VOIP monitoring services a reality to managed services providers (MSP) worldwide.
The service provides MSPs with actionable insight into communications system performance and the capability for around the clock business continuity. In addition, the new alliance opens the door for MSPs to add IP communications to their service offerings, says N-able president and CEO Gavin Garbutt.
SIOS's SteelEye in Benelux region
SIOS Technology, a provider of cloud computing, and business continuity solutions for enterprises, announced COMPUTERLINKS Netherlands will be the distributor of SIOS' SteelEye branded business continuity and disaster recovery solutions to resellers and integrators in the Benelux region, reveals Red Orbit.
The SteelEye family of data replication, application protection, high-availability clustering and disaster recovery solutions ensures continuous availability of business-critical applications, servers and data for small and medium enterprises.
SteelEye in transitioned into the new SIOS Technology created by its parent, Tokyo-based SIOS Technology Group. The new company is focused on business continuity, data center management and enterprise cloud solutions.
Sakana's DMS implementation a success
Sakana Holistic Housing Solutions, the Islamic mortgage finance provider, recently received a completion certificate for successful implementation of the Document Management System (DMS) from IPP Technologies, an Australian software development and consultancy company, reports AME Info.
The system is an integral part of Sakana's business continuity plan and will also be used to handle documentation from external and internal sources received and sent throughout the organisation.
R Lakshmanan, CEO of Sakana says: "The DMS will speed up document handling and effective management of customer documentation throughout the mortgage process. We believe the system will enable us to respond faster to customer needs and improve our customer service levels.”
