Nambiti NextWave Consulting (N^2 Consulting) and SAP Africa recently announced a service partnership agreement that cements the position of N^2 Consulting as special expertise partner for lifecycle data management under the SAP Africa Partner Programme.
N^2 Consulting is the first black empowered enterprise to achieve this recognition, under the SAP Africa Partner Programme.
This is according to Kevin Paul, N^2 Consulting`s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). "The primary focus area of N^2 Consulting is the delivery of enterprise solutions for mySAP Product Lifecycle Management, specifically in the area of lifecycle data management solutions and services within the SAP Africa and SAP public services customer base," Paul points out.
"N^2 Consulting brings to market subject matter experts who are able to assist organisations in managing one of their key assets - information - while allowing them to focus on their core business competency at the same time," he explains.
"The formation of N^2 Consulting is the result of a joint venture between Nambiti Technologies and Next Wave Collaborative Business Solutions, which are both accredited SAP Partners," comments Werner Simpson, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of N^2.
"The key objective of the joint venture was to consolidate the skills sets of both companies, in order to create an organisation of critical mass and capability, that truly embodies, in spirit and letter, the objectives of broad-based black empowerment, " Simpson continues.
Kathy Carrick, SAP Alliance Manager, comments: "It is good to see our partners taking up the challenge of black economic empowerment in SA. We welcome N^2 Consulting as the first majority black-owned, fully accredited service partner in our partner programme."
N^2 Consulting`s Simpson states that the company will keep its focus on the areas of lifecycle data management solutions and services.
"In the mySAP Product Lifecycle Management arena, the company will support the management of engineering content within the context of the `create, manage, publish` continuum.
The most common engineering formats of Bentley Microstation and AutoCAD are fully supported on all these levels," he states.
"Furthermore, a strong focus in the deployment of the SAP Document Management System will also form a cornerstone of our activities in the market," Simpson adds.
For data and document archiving, the company will continue to offer independent advisory and consultancy services to customers. It will also involve close collaboration with archive system vendors in the optimal deployment of third-party archive systems within the SAP customer base.
N^2 Consulting`s Paul states that this recognition by SAP is endorsement of the efforts of his organisation to become the leading provider in this area.
"As the only majority black-owned SAP service partner in the PLM space, we expect the established service partners to fully support our organisation`s growth objectives; and therefore we have a firm focus on collaborating closely with the established SAP service alliance partners in the South African market," he maintains.
"To date, achievements of the company include the delivery of a comprehensive asset configuration management solution on an SAP platform at Spoornet, the commissioning of the first SAP document management system at Eskom and the integration of engineering business processes at Iscor Steel and the Engen Refinery," Paul details.
"In addition, service engagements for SAP data and document archiving solutions include African Development Bank, Eskom, Nation Media and Pioneer Foods," he concludes.
N^2 Consulting is the first majority black-owned enterprise to achieve full service partner recognition, under the SAP Africa Partner Programme. N^2 Consulting`s primary focus area is the delivery of enterprise solutions for mySAP Product Lifecycle Management, specifically in the area of lifecycle data management solutions and services within the SAP Africa and SAP public services customer base.
