NamITech Limited will be hosting its annual GSM Conference in Johannesburg, from 5 - 7 August 2002. Cellular network operators from across Africa are expected to attend the event.
This is the third year NamITech has hosted this educational event for the mobile telecommunications industry. The conference is a three-day event that covers all aspects of GSM, from focussed topics such as the ordering process, production and value added services, right through to high-level discussions such as industry updates or market analysis. The programme boasts prominent local and international speakers, including Andreas Luginger from German smart card manufacturer Geisecke and Devrient and Craig Kilfoil from VISA. This year, it also includes presentations from NamITech`s security specialists highlighting the security considerations for GSM operators.
In addition, delegates will have an opportunity to tour NamITech`s secure facilities where the SIM cards, prepaid vouchers and starter packs are manufactured.
