Napera Networks, a company dedicated to helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) succeed at , has partnered with 3ntity Berhad, one of Asia's enterprise application solution providers and value-added distributors, according to Marketwire.

Through this alliance, Napera is rolling out its partner programme in Malaysia and working with 3ntity to provide network access control products and services to the region's SMEs.

"We are very pleased to be partnering with 3ntity, which has a strong reputation in network security and a complementary portfolio of solutions and partners," said Mark Stevens, regional VP for Asia Pacific, Napera Networks.

SMEs go green

Industry standards group MSPAlliance has started a green IT certification programme for managed service providers, offering greater incentives to exploit the largely untapped green IT market among SMEs, reports TMCnet.

MSPAlliance's green certification initiative recognises service providers for their green IT capabilities.

The programme, revealed last week at the Managed Services Summit, in Las Vegas, signals the growing importance of green IT within enterprises beyond just the data centre, which is where most green initiatives have historically been concentrated.

Intel focuses on Indian SMEs

Intel, the global processor manufacturer, has turned its eye towards Indian SMEs for its growth, according to CIOL.

Intel will organise its annual channel conferences in about 150 towns from this year, said Suryanarayanan B, director (South) of sales and marketing group for Intel South Asia.

The Intel Channel Conference event is held twice a year and channel partners gather to gain knowledge on Intel's upcoming platforms, products and usage models.
