Nashua Ltd has announced a new venture with Email Connection for the delivery of electronic bills to its clients. The deal sees the monthly delivery of between 200 000 and 300 000 financial documents to Nashua clients nationwide.
"Besides the convenience to the client and the cost saving involved, E-mail Connection is offering us a legal method of sending invoices online," says Graham Rhodes, Financial Director at Nashua.
"This means that our clients will be able to claim VAT off the electronic invoices. The ebills will be sent via e-mail at the push of a button, and will carry the same look and feel of previously sent paper bills."
Says Howard Rabinowitz, MD of E-mail Connection: "We are really happy with the response from Nashua and its clients. Ours is the only SARS certified method to send ebills via e-mail, and, after two years of software development, we are happy to see that businesses are becoming aware of its advantages.
"Companies are increasingly realising that electronic billing not only offers a convenient way to issue invoices, but also provides a platform from which to run a paperless office, simplifying the running and management of their everyday business," he says.
"Through ebilling we are able to provide companies like Nashua with value added functionality, offering them a reliable service that operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day," says Rabinowitz. "By turning to electronic billing, these companies can transform their monthly chore of sending out invoices and statements into an opportunity to improve customer relationships and save costs related to mailing."
