Annex Distribution, in conjunction with its global technology vendor partner, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, is proud to announce the release of the entry level Pocket LOOX N100 Series personal Pocket Navigation Assistant (PNA) to the local market.
This multi-functional PNA combines the latest in digital navigation software with multimedia applications, providing the mobile enthusiast with a complete pocket-sized digital solution.
A key selling point of the PocketLOOX N100 is its NAVIGON software MobileNavigator/6. This offers the user the benefit of a full navigation system with integrated SiRFstar III GPS module.
In addition to its quality as a navigations assistant, the product can be used as an audio player, video and photo viewer.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers has harnessed its market experience, knowledge of the latest in mobile and wireless infrastructure and user requirements to launch a clear, straightforward user interface.
"The user interface guarantees one-click operation and is designed to be user friendly. The PNA is lightweight and therefore a practical investment in lifestyle technology for those on the move," says Adelle Willemse, Fujitsu Siemens Product manager of Annex Distribution.
Annex Distribution has bundled the device with Navigon 6 DVD with map South Africa and handbook; 1GB Mini SD card with pre-installed map of South Africa; car holder, car charger; AC with EU plug; headset; and one additional express on cover.
The solution also features Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 Core Version which supports persistent store. This enables the user to save all data even if the battery runs out.
The recommended retail price of the Fujitsu Siemens Computers Pocket LOOX N100 Series is R2 499, including VAT.
