
NCR intros loyalty solution
NCR has released Netkey Loyalty Kiosk, a loyalty and offer management solution, states Info Tech.
The solution consists of a self-service kiosk combined with the NCR Netkey management software, and helps retailers extend the reach of frequent shopper programmes quickly and consistently across channels, such as inside the store, online or via mobile devices.
It also enables consumers to manage their frequent shopper programme and access personalised offers and informational material.
Verizon wins self-service award
The Verizon Business Enterprise has received the 2010 North American Customer Service Leadership Award for enterprise self-service portals, reports TMCnet.
Frost & Sullivan, the research and consulting firm, conferred the award on Verizon as its online service portal for business customers received top marks for quality; timeliness and impact of service on customer value; and cost of service to customers.
In a research report, 'Customer service leadership, enterprise self-service portals', Frost & Sullivan highlighted accessibility features of the Verizon Enterprise Centre that make it ideally suited for a broad customer base.
Kiosk expo to feature interactive museums
Kiosk Europe Expo 2010 and Digital Signage Expo 2010 will feature a dedicated area with real-life, interactive and innovative museum exhibits, states PR Fire.
As well as providing visitors with the opportunity to find out more about self-service and digital signage solutions, the Kiosk Europe and Digital Signage expos, being held from 15 to 17 June, will showcase actual deployments of interactive technologies for museums across Europe.
Museum curators and IT managers will be able to see for themselves how touch technologies, 3D kiosks, projectors and more can transform museum exhibits into compelling and immersive experiences.
