NEC Computers South Africa today announced that it had entered into a strategic alliance with Spartan Computer Rentals (Pty) Ltd. This business relationship confirms NEC as Spartan`s preferred Tier 1 desktop brand for the local market.
"With the recent investment by NEC Computers International in SA, this new alliance provides us the opportunity of offering world-leading products from one of the world`s top five international technology companies into the local market on attractive rental terms," commented Graham Brett, GM Sales NEC SA.
"Many organisations prefer to fund their equipment in this way, often to accommodate rapidly changing technology environments, and we are delighted to be able to conveniently satisfy this means of acquisition," continued Brett.
Spartan Computer Rentals, founded in 1981, is one of the leading IT rental companies in SA. It is owned jointly by Fintech, a member of the Altron Group, and arivia.kom, a state-owned IT services provider.
