Net Brothers Academy, the newly formed training division of Net Brothers, has launched a new workshop to help business owners understand the fundamentals of e-commerce.
Following the phenomenal success of iMarket, the Internet marketing workshop, Net Brothers Academy was established to provide concentrated e-business training for business people with little or no Internet knowledge.
"Since launching iMarket late last year, we have found that there is a serious misconception about the Internet in South Africa. Many people perceive it to be something it isn`t, and local Internet development firms often misrepresent the realities of doing business on the web in order to make a sale", says John Ginsberg, managing director of Net Brothers.
"After discussing with many disenchanted web site owners, we found that many perceived an e-business to be nothing more than a web site. They have no idea of the business processes that are needed to support any type of Internet initiative", adds Ginsberg.
The iTrade workshop is presented in the same successful 1-day format as iMarket. Business people learn the fundamentals of e-commerce without the usual sales talk associated with similar types of presentations.
