NETg, the global leader in corporate e-learning exclusively represented by Learning Resources in SA, has received the 17th Annual Codie Award for "Best Online Corporate Training Content Provider", presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) at its annual awards banquet in San Diego, California.
As the only peer-reviewed award of its kind, the Codie award honoured NETg, now part of global group Thomson Learning, for its high-quality instructional content and rich scenario-based assessments that tailor and personalise learning according to the unique styles, skills, and preferences of the learner.
Ken Wasch, president of SIIA, commented: "At SIIA, we recognise that quality corporate training is playing a critical role in helping companies achieve business success. NETg is clearly a leader in this category."
"The Codie award validates what we have known for a long time," says Ricky Robinson, MD of Learning Resources, "that NETg is the clear market leader in this space. Many South African companies have endorsed NETg`s solutions by choosing them ahead of the competition, and this award will spur further successes."
The SIIA`s 17th Annual Codie Award programme attracted more than 700 product nominations from over 300 companies. First-round judging was completed by a broad panel of judges consisting of representatives of the industry trade press, mainstream technology writers, and industry experts. Second-round judging was based on votes from SIIA members, comprising more than 1 200 companies worldwide.
