NetIQ, Veritas sign agreement

NetIQ, a leading provider of e-business infrastructure management and intelligence solutions, has announced an agreement with VERITAS Software to provide VERITAS ManageExec customers the option to replace ManageExec with NetIQ`s Performance and Availability Solutions, an award-winning server and application monitoring suite.

NetIQ`s Performance and Availability Solutions allow system managers to take control of their e-business environments with functionality that proactively identifies, alerts, and automatically resolves performance and availability problems even before end-user services are affected. Automated monitoring and management not only minimises downtime, but also enables IT personnel to concentrate on higher value projects.
