Netscope Training: Going from good to gold

Johannesburg, 25 Nov 2002

Netscope Training, one of Microsoft`s leading and preferred CTECs (Certified Technical Education Centres), has in addition to receiving this year`s worldwide Microsoft training partner award, also been the first CTEC to be awarded Gold Partner Status in the Enterprise Learning Solutions category.

"Attaining Gold partner status in the Learning Solutions programme has been particularly demanding," says Netscope`s Managing Director, Jason Perthel. "With qualifying criteria covering a cross-section of enterprise-styled case studies, proven .NET developer training expertise, Franklin Covey sales skills and Microsoft Solution Framework practitioner status, we have made a significant investment ensuring that our business goes from good to great."

"At Microsoft, partners are key to our success. That`s why we`ve invested generously in our partnering programmes - creating opportunities for partners to increase revenue, lower the cost of doing business, get solutions to market faster, and expand business networks," says Anton Jacobsz, OEM and SMB channel manager at Microsoft South Africa. "The Microsoft Gold Partner Status in Learning Solutions programme is targeted specifically at those Microsoft CTECs who focus on the enterprise customer and invest in value-added services for those customers."

Obtaining Microsoft Gold Certification in Learning Solutions was Netscope`s top priority in 2002. The Gold certification is not only indicative of its ability to engage enterprise-styled clients, but also proves that Netscope Training has the necessary skills and capabilities to compete at world-class levels. "We are extremely proud to be the first organisation in the Middle East/Africa region to successfully obtain this credential," concludes Perthel.
