Fujitsu and Fujitsu Siemens Computers today announced the ESPRIMO brand for professional PCs. The ESPRIMO name is designed to provide customers with a globally recognised brand and product design while enhancing the overall recognition of both companies operating across seven continents.
The ESPRIMO brand will replace the existing professional PC brands, bringing customers the comfort and benefits of a global brand. This also means that the global umbrella of Fujitsu IT companies will provide a complete professional PC line, available to customers worldwide. ESPRIMO professional PCs will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) starting with the next generation Intel Stable Image Platform Program.
The ESPRIMO professional PC is designed to bring a stress-free working environment to companies and their employees. End-users will get a PC that is ergonomic, environmentally conscious and silent, and still meets the demands of every office environment. IT managers will find the brand reliable, easy to manage and secure.
In addition, the line incorporates a new product design which creates a unifying look and feel, integrating the same design language for the whole PC line. The line in Europe specifically focuses on environmental standards, meeting the strict requirements of the EU WEEE and is prepared to meet RoHS standards by the end of 2005.
"The new ESPRIMO brand will help propel our industry-leading desktops to the same kind of recognition we currently gain with our LIFEBOOK brand," said Andrew Tsobanoglou, Product Manager Professional Products at Fujitsu Siemens Computers. "As the global conglomerate ranking number four in IT overall, the ESPRIMO brand from Fujitsu and Fujitsu Siemens Computers offers customers an environmentally conscious, global PC brand that stands for high quality and reliability, tailored to meet their needs."
