New CA Unicenter solution manages mainframe-based IBM WebSphere implementations

Computer Associates (CA) today announced the Unicenter NeuMICSWeb Analyzer Option for managing IBM WebSphere Application Server on z/OS and OS/390 mainframe systems. A detailed metrics and sophisticated application analysis capability enable administrators to tune this powerful e-business environment for optimal performance and efficiency.

Unicenter NeuMICS Web Analyzer Option provides comprehensive insight into legacy systems usage and access patterns, including the frequency with which pages are accessed, the origin of data requests and any errors that users encounter. This information is integrated into the Unicenter NeuMICS repository, where it is available for analysis through standard and custom reports and queries. Built-in interfaces with other Unicenter NeuMICS options provide vital accounting, chargeback and capacity planning information for WebSphere implementations as well.
