Logitech has released three new keyboards for users looking to brighten up their workplace.
The products, which feature a striking new design, also facilitate more effective work, play and communication, according to Logitech. They offer:
* One-touch access to activity centres such as My Pictures, My Music and My Document.
* Logitech`s low-profile Zero Degree Tilt design, which keeps the key-plane parallel to the desk surface for maximum comfort.
* Multimedia control for digital music files, CDs, DVDs and online media.
* One-touch Internet access and navigation. Internet hot keys can be set to the user`s home page and other favourite sites, or used to launch a Webcam, access instant messenger or e-mail, or perform a Web-based search.
* Enhanced F-key functionality and Fast User Switch under Windows XP for rapid execution of common tasks.
The new corded keyboard line-up is available now and comprises:
* Internet Navigator Special Edition Keyboard: Its black body with silver accents matches the design of today`s leading computer systems. Its slim profile is attractive in any desktop environment.
* Internet Navigator Keyboard: Featuring a bright white body and deep blue highlights, the Internet Navigator complements the colour scheme of many PC and Apple iMac computers.
* Deluxe Access Keyboard: With its sleek design and contoured shape, the Access Keyboard adds an aesthetic touch to even the most basic home PC system. The two Internet Navigator keyboards feature Logitech`s iNav console, which allows the user to easily scroll, zoom, access files on the hard drive and browse bookmarks on the Web.
At the push of the "go" button, a window will pop up to allow the user to type any URL. The browser will then launch and automatically start loading the Web page that was entered, without passing through the standard home page.
A browser "back" button on the keyboard puts the most commonly used browser command in easy reach. The iNav wheel can also be used to immediately access activity folders or scroll and zoom documents and Web pages.
All Logitech keyboards, mice and trackballs are compatible with Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition and Windows XP. Logitech USB keyboards are also compatible with Macintosh OS X or later.
