Epson SA has launched the Stylus COLOR 480SXU, its new entry-level 720dpi inkjet printer which comes with a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface as standard and is capable of producing superb quality output while maintaining a sleek, buttonless aesthetic design.
"With USB, ease of use is the key," says Hans Dummer, general manager at Epson locally. "With all printer operation performed through the printer driver for enhanced interaction with the user. This removes the requirement for a printer control panel and makes it possible to guide users online through procedures such as print head cleaning and paper loading operations."
Ease of use is enhanced with the plug and play USB interface of the printer, making the Stylus COLOR 480SXU one of the easiest inkjets to set-up. Moreover, print quality is outstanding with high quality 720dpi resolution and incredible 6 picolitre ink droplets and EPSON Variable Sized Droplet Technology.
"The demand for a USB interface at the entry level continues to increase," maintains Dummer. "Epson has launched the Stylus Color 480SXU to meet this demand. The new printer is easy to use and offers high performance at an ideal price point for family home use and first time buyers."
