Rectron has released one of the first Dual PCI-Express Graphic support motherboards for the Intel platform; Gigabyte Technology`s new GA-8I915P Dual Graphic.
The Dual Graphic is a member of the PX family of motherboards and aims to raise the bar for users of Intel-based PCI-Express solutions.
"Gigabyte has a strong reputation in the enthusiast market and continues to demonstrate its commitment to driving innovation with the Dual Graphic," comments Michael Hann, Gigabyte product manager at Rectron.
One of the key benefits of the Dual Graphic is that it bridges the signals of two PCI-E graphics cards together through Dual Graphic Link technology, therefore dramatically improving 3D rendering, fill rates and light shading - improving overall graphics performance by as much as 50%.
And with Gigabyte`s Quad View technology, Dual Graphic-enabled motherboards offer multiple display support for up to four separate monitors. This enables users to spread multiple windows over four monitors and view them simultaneously.
The Dual Graphic also offers support for the newest LGA775 Intel Pentium 4 processor which delivers increased computing power with 1MB L2 cache as well as smooth and fast multi-tasking with Intel`s Hyper-Threading Technology.
Lastly, the GA-8I915P Dual Graphic features eight USB 2.0 and three IEEE 1394 (Firewire) ports as well as advanced storage capabilities that include Serial ATA and Intel Matrix Storage Technology via ICH6R for enhanced data protection and performance flexibility.
