The new HP Color LaserJet 9500 supplies feature high-volume, short-run production of persuasive promotional documents

HP today introduces its new high-performance printing supplies for the recent HP Color LaserJet 9500. The HP Color LaserJet 9500 supplies are designed for flexible, high-performance in-house laser publishing of high-value colour documents and a wide range of promotional print material.

With this solution, users can run all kinds of colour print jobs - from the short-run production of sales and marketing collaterals to internal communication documents - on demand.

HP`s very flexible consumables concept particularly addresses the needs of business professionals and general office users in large enterprises, departments and workgroups printing large volumes of colour documents.

The high-yield print cartridges using HP`s second generation of spherical toners with enhanced pigments and special gloss properties deliver premium print quality, a broad colour gamut, and extra-sharp black text on a wide range of papers and films. In every format - from postcard to A3 size.

Due to a very flexible supplies concept, users can easily adapt the whole printing system to their individual printing needs - especially for in-house publishing. In today`s businesses, convincing documents must be readily available at the right time, no matter if in a small business or in the enterprise segment - and documents must exactly serve their purpose.

In-house publishing allows for fast, cost-efficient solutions. Especially for small or medium print runs (up to 1 000 double-sided colour copies) it is more cost-efficient to produce them in-house. To produce a true-to-life appearance of images and colours in photo-realistic prints, HP Color LaserJet 9500 printing supplies feature Image REt 4800. This multi-layer printing process precisely controls colour by combining up to four colours within a single dot and by varying the amount of toner in a given area.

As a result, Image RET 4800, together with the 600dpi engine resolution, creates millions of colours with smooth transitions, sharp images and crisp text. In addition, all original HP Color LaserJet 9500 supplies are backed by HP`s warranty and HP`s world-class support.

The HP Color Laser Jet 9500 printing systems deliver superior matt and glossy print quality due to an adjustable fusing process which is exactly tuned to the properties of HP`s second generation of chemically grown toners.

Especially designed to work with HP Color LaserJet printers, the HP High-Gloss and Soft Gloss Laser Papers stand up to the heat and electrical requirements of duplex printing. With their special two-sided coating, these papers are especially geared to in-house printing of persuasive promotional documents: they deliver superior print quality with high or soft gloss; even duplex printouts can be handled quickly and finished optimally with the Color LaserJet 9500 printing system. By choosing from a wide range of HP laser papers with different weights and finishes customers can produce high-value colour documents with variable gloss properties.

Featuring HP`s smart printing technology the HP Color LaserJet print cartridges facilitate unattended printing, thereby saving time and money, as well as improving efficiency of use. HP`s smart printing features offer status information on supplies, improved print-job tracking, location assurance, and configurable e-mail alerts to a designated address. All consumables can easily be replaced via the front panel access of the printer.

The new HP Color LaserJet 9500 supplies are available in SA as of September 2003.
