Johannesburg, 01 Feb 2012

Converged telecommunications operator Neotel has appointed Noel Studti as chief sales and marketing officer, with effect from today.

Studti joins the Neotel leadership team from the Innovation Group, where he most recently held the position of chief sales officer.

Neotel says he brings years of experience to the table, “having worked closely with major blue chip organisations in the ICT sector in Africa and Europe, such as Deutsche Telecom (London), Vodacom, Dimension , and TransUnion”.

Neotel CEO Sunil Joshi says Studti will be responsible for providing solutions that meet the demands and business requirements of the company's customers. “[He] is driven by the quest to continually improve customer service.”

Studti joined IBM in 1980, and subsequently spent 14 years in various positions at the company, in systems engineering, sales and branch management. In 1993, he took the position of sales director at Siemens Business Solutions (Nixdorf) and later started sales management consultancy Stratham Bryce.
