The first all-integrated handheld from Fujitsu Siemens Computers is now available to the local market through Annex Distribution. The device is a GSM/UMTS mobile phone and complete navigation system in one, providing WiFi certified WLAN 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth V2.0 to meet the needs of mobile professionals.
Users will benefit from access to a new range of mobile Office applications including Word, Excel and Power Point mobile, thanks to the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition operating system.
Achieve higher levels of efficiency through the integrated Windows Media Player 10 for Pocket PC, as well as expandability to archive business data, pictures or multimedia files with the built-in SD-I/O/MMC slot.
The Pocket LOOX T Series also features a VGA camera for video telephony and a 2-megapixel auto focus camera for impressive, high quality pictures.
In terms of navigation capability, this latest addition to Fujitsu Siemens Computers` stable of mobile product is based on SiRF star III GPS module for effective tracking and direction in a clear, compact and direct design.
"This is an exciting new edition to the local mobile market. The device has everything that a mobile worker needs. The user can interface with the product via a TFT display and qwerty keyboard, and take advantage of Microsoft`s e-mail push solution. The small-form phone features built-in silent alert functionality and can support both polyphonic and MP3/WAV ringtones. The product also allows for VOIP via integrated WLAN and/or UMTS HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) that allows for higher download speeds," explains Jason Gibb, Fujitsu Siemens Computers product manager at Annex Distribution.
The qwerty keyboard also features five-way navigation key, three-way jog dial and two application buttons.
The new Pocket LOOX T Series is available with a broad range of accessories such as SD memory cards, battery, leather cases and more.
