Two new Samsung tablets - a 10.5-inch and an 8.4 version of the same device - will be revealed by the company this week, according to Samsung fan site SamMobile.com.

SamMobile has leaked images of the Galaxy Tab S, a super-thin tablet with AMOLED display - which the site says will be marketed through images that compare AMOLED displays to LCD units.

According to features leaked by SamMobile, the Galaxy Tab S tablets will sport 2 560x1 600 resolution displays, an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor with Mali-T628 graphics, 3GB of RAM, 8MP rear and 2.1MP front-facing cameras, 32GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD slot, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

One of the most notable features of the tablets is the size. They both reportedly come in at just 6.6mm. At 465g, the 10.5-inch tablet is 4g lighter than the iPad Air. Both versions are 0.9mm thinner than the rival device.

SamMobile reports the Galaxy Tab S devices will also have some of the features Samsung's recently launched Galaxy S5 smartphone came out with, like Ultra Power Saving Mode, Download Booster, and a fingerprint scanner.

The Tab S will reportedly also sync with the phone, allowing the user to take incoming calls directly from the tablet and overlaying a small window on whatever app is running when a call comes in.
