Metrofile Holdings has transferred its JSE listing to the "Support Services - Business Support Services" sector of the JSE.
The company was previously listed in the "IT - Software and Computer Services - Software" sector, before MGX sold all of its operations except Metrofile and adopted the Metrofile Holdings name.
MGX Holdings was a supplier of a range of IT products and services before it ran into financial trouble and sold off all its assets except Metrofile, a document management specialist.
Metrofile CEO Graham Wackrill says the reclassification is more in line with the primary business.
The Metrofile share closed unchanged at 37c on the JSE yesterday.
