Fluke Networks has announced today a major improvement to its SuperAgent Application Performance Analyzer. SuperAgent version 5 implements Service Level Management (SLM) of application performance across the entire enterprise. Fluke Networks` latest SuperAgent offering enables organizations to separate response time into application, network and server delay components to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.
For the first time, IT organizations can get business-level reporting for the CIO and rapid troubleshooting capabilities for the network engineer all in one easy-to-deploy product. "SuperAgent 5 is an important addition to Fluke Networks distributed analysis capabilities," said Rick Sturm, president of Enterprise Management Associates. "By offering service level management and application response time analysis from SuperAgent, network managers can isolate and repair potentially complex issues before they become apparent to the end user.
Fluke Networks continues to provide IT departments with more and better ways of looking at their network activities." SuperAgent measures end-to-end response times for all TCP-based applications without the deployment of agents on desktop systems. In addition to SLA reporting, SuperAgent`s Application Barometer automatically determines normal application performance, and notifies network managers immediately when the application performance deviates from this predetermined "normal" behavior, allowing more rapid troubleshooting and proactive management. These two new features allow IT managers to easily determine target application and network performance levels, then guarantee that the required levels of service to end users are met. SuperAgent is an easy-to-deploy, cost-effective means to measure and understand enterprise-wide application performance from the end-user`s perspective. SuperAgent is available now.
