CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, will once again co-sponsor the next E-Learning Africa breakfast on Thursday, 25 April.
This is the fourth meeting of E-Learning Africa, a combined training and skills development initiative sponsored by CompTIA, Microsoft and Masterskill. This session is scheduled at 7am for 7.30am and will take place at the Softline Conference Centre at 151 Katherine Street in Sandown.
The meeting will focus on an e-learning implementation case study at Liberty Life, as well as the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and its impact on the industry.
Guest speakers include Hendra Bezuidenhout, an E-Learning Consultant from Liberty Life, and Robynne Erwin, a Strategic Projects and Learnerships Consultant from CS Holdings.
Having joined Liberty in 1990, Bezuidenhout made a natural progression towards the Project Governance division in a project management capacity. She will discuss the implementation of an e-learning strategy at Liberty Life.
Erwin has 17 years experience within the computer training industry and works as a consultant for CS Holdings on strategic projects and learnerships. She first became involved in the South African Qualifications Authority and National Qualifications Framework while in her capacity as chairperson of the KZN chapter of the Association of Private Colleges.
Erwin will speak about the NQF at large, what impact this structure is currently having on the industry, and how it relates to human resource management.
