Nordea sells BP shares

Nordic banking group Nordea has sold shares in BP worth $11.9 million, linking to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, reports Earth Times.

Nordea says it would also suspend further investments in BP until clarification from the energy company on systematic risk management has been evaluated.

Nordea adds that the group's investments and governance team was also analysing other companies in the oil and gas sector "to identify systematic safety and environmental risks associated with deep water drilling operations."

Security technology company McAfee has released a solution for security and compliance called McAfee Total Protection for Servers, states The Whir.
