Enterprise Outsourcing Holdings Limited, a leading enterprise solutions provider, recently completed a successful Impact implementation at Nortech, an independent distributor of detection systems.
Consisting of four business divisions, Nortech operates in a pressurised environment where over 8 - 12000 components per hour can be surface mounted, with high levels of stock calling for stringent cash management, complicated by strict adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards on all of their components.
Their management team realised that the phenomenal growth of their company required a more solid infrastructure for their ERP affairs.
Finding a solutions partner
After investigating a few ERP systems, Nortech financial director, Brian Lee explains the reasons for choosing Impact, developed by local software company, Syspro. "The product had the best fit to our environment - it was modular, allowed flexibility in implementation and could be installed quickly compared to competing products. Enterprise Outsourcing was selected as the partner to implement the product for us. The implementation, from start to finish took under three months! We were excited with the results and will be implementing the manufacturing module within the next few months."
