Product of the Year is the world's largest organisation dedicated to recognising and celebrating innovation in the consumer goods sector.
It is run in association with The Sunday Times, Nielsen, The Creative Counsel (TCC) and D!d You Know. Nielsen conducted the research nationally and a jury selected products for the consumer survey, ensuring that winners were voted for 'by the people'. The opinions of 5 000 South Africans are to decide which products should be awarded.
