Novell, the world`s leading provider of directory-enabled networking software and services, has announced Novell Education has received registration to the internationally recognised ISO 9001 business quality standard. Registration affirms Novell Education brings world-class services to customers through efficient and effective processes, enhancing overall quality of the product. This achievement further enhances Novell`s industry leadership with demonstrated excellence in educational and other services combined with technological leadership in directory and Internet-based solutions.
Novell Education`s ISO 9001 registration comes as Novell celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) program, the industry`s first information technology (IT) certification. Novell is the pioneer and global leader in computer network and Internet education certification programs.
"Novell Education`s ability to meet the rigorous ISO 9001 standard is a testament to our commitment to quality for our customers and commitment to our educational partners," said Novell channel and distribution manager Martin Bawden. "Our partners` strong adherence to Novell`s business processes lets us provide world-class technical education programs. It is this type of commitment that makes Novell and its partners industry leaders."
According to Bawden, Novell remains the leading provider of networking certification programs by adapting and increasing its certification program offerings to keep pace with today`s increasing rate of technological advances. In addition to CNE, other Novell certifications include Master CNE, Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), Certified Novell Instructor (CNI), and Certified Internet Professional. During the past decade, nearly a million Novell certifications have been granted or are in process.
Novell`s ability to secure this esteemed certification stands as concrete evidence of the quality of education Novell provides its customers. Novell`s commitment to business excellence generates a high level of customer confidence and ultimately drives awareness of partner businesses.
Novell training and certification programs are available through Novell`s global network of Novell Authorized Education Centers (NAEC) and Novell Education Academic Partners (NEAP), which include colleges, universities and high schools.
