Fans of F1 will be delighted by the offerings at Nu Metro's stand, this weekend. As the distributor for Codemasters games, it has the just-released F1 2010 racing sim for PC, Xbox and PS3.

David Swanepoel, marketing manager for Nu Metro Interactive, says F1 2010 is one of the most realistic F1 games ever, and the first new title in five years. Players can choose to have a beginner experience, with assists turned on, or go for the most realistic racing experience by turning off the electronic aids in the quest for gold.

Also on show at the Nu Metro stand is Dead Rising 2, sequel to the 2006 hit, Dead Rising - a horror-comedy zombie survival experience.

The game features protagonist Chuck Greene, who has to survive 72 hours of zombie massacre in a fictional depiction of Las Vegas.

While the first game had role-playing elements, with an experience system, the sequel jacks things up with more inventive ways to 'off' the undead.

Players can combine various items - say, a chainsaw strapped to an oar - and get rewarded for creativity and variety when mowing through a crowd of zombies. Perhaps not everybody's cup of tea, but it's hilarious, mindless entertainment with a sadistic twist.

Nu Metro also has some yet-to-be-released titles on show, including the latest fighting game in the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise. Fallout: New Vegas makes an appearance, and the recently-announced Vanquish action title is also on show.
